Dear members,
The results of the ratification vote for the Memorandum of Understanding on Bill 124 are as follows: 711 IN FAVOUR and 10 AGAINST. As such, the Memorandum of Understanding has been approved by 98% of the members who have cast a vote.
The APUO will inform the Employer of these results. The Employer has 120 days as of today to implement the retroactive salary adjustments for the period of May 1, 2021, to April 30, 2024, meaning all adjustments should be completed by February 28, 2024.
We invite members who could not attend yesterday’s Special General Assembly to read the Memorandum of Understanding on Bill 124. The APUO remains available to answer any questions or provide further information.
