It was a pleasure seeing so many of you at today’s rally to take back our university. Our collective voice was strong and clear. Alongside allies from campus unions as well as students, we highlighted the critical situation we find ourselves in on campus. Meanwhile, the Employer continues to refuse to negotiate seriously on our proposals seeking to remedy the deterioration in working and learning conditions.
In light of this reality at the table and the issues at stake, we will be holding a special general meeting on November 12 to provide a full update on negotiations. A strike vote will follow the meeting.
For those who were unable to participate in today’s rally, you can follow our social media accounts to see photos and videos from the rally.
