As we announced in our August 5th bulletin, the University of Ottawa Board of Governors (BOG) has committed to making its meetings completely accessible to the public. This victory was the result of advocacy following APUO members being denied access to the May 27 Board of Governors meeting.
In light of this victory, and to continue engaging with one of the highest decision-making bodies on campus, we invite you to join APUO executives and staff for the first Board of Governors meeting of the Fall 2025 Term, Thursday, September 25 at 4:00 p.m. in the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS). We will be meeting at 3:45pm in the lobby of FSS. You are also invited to a social evening at Café Nostalgica after the BOG.
Register here to join us.
uOttawa’s Board of Governors makes decisions on university finances and operational policies that affect our working conditions and students’ learning conditions. We invite members to attend these public meetings to see first-hand how these decisions are discussed and how our university is governed.
