Joint Consultative and Communication Committee
Mandate:
The APUO and the Employer agree to establish a committee that will meet on a regular basis to exchange information, to discuss issues of mutual interest, and to draw to each other’s attention situations that might give rise to conflicts between the parties, as well as to propose initiatives that can ensure an ongoing healthy relationship between the parties.
Committee members:
As per Article 5.7.1.1 of the Collective Agreement:
The committee members are appointed by the Association. Additional participants will be invited on an ad hoc basis, as the need arises, by either the Central Administration or the APUO.
The Committee will be made up of three (3) representatives appointed by each party:
- two (2) members of the Administrative Committee of the University, appointed by the Central Administration;
- (b) two (2) members of the Executive Committee of the APUO, appointed by the APUO;
- (c) two (2) members at large (one (1) for each party) appointed by the Central Administration and the APUO.
There are no permanent members for this committee. Rotating memberships usually occurs for every meeting.
